--- Release_date: 2023 Genre: FPS (boomer shooter) Rating: 8 Total_playtime: ~12.4 hours First_played: "May 27 - June 16 2023" --- #videogames ## Plot Inquisitor Seibel requests the help of the Sternguard Veteran of the [[Ultramarines]]'s 1st chapter, Malum Caedo, in order to repeal and investigate daemonic incursions on Graia, the planet from [[Warhammer 40000 Space Marine]]. Malum Caedo is aided by Incommodus, a servo-skull that had once belonged to Drogan, that inquisitor from WH40K: Space Marines. The incursions are caused by the [[Adeptus Mechanicus|Mechanicus]]' tinkering with Drogan's power source. A chaos sorcerer Tumulus Samael leads the incursion, interested in Graia's transformation into a Daemon World. Caedo purged his way to the vault where the source was contained, only for Samael to gloat that he had already taken it. He then teleports to the Crown, the [[Imperial Inquisition|Inquisition]]'s orbital station, in order to enlarge the ongoing warp storm. Caedo travels to the Crown, purges his way to the Sorcerer, defeats him, and contains the power source. Seibel warns him that victory is not yet achieved, as there are still many Chaos forces on the Crown and Graia. ## Rating The game is unmistakably fun because of all the gore. Slaughtering heretics with one's chainsword is one hell of a vibe. The only con of this game - didn't have a built-in map. Most game maps are quite big and complicated, so it was hard to navigate my way around them.
