## Properties
Each iron golem by default has 100 health points (i.e. 50 hearts).


## Summoning conditions
In [[Minecraft]] Java Edition, golems can be summoned by villagers if the following criteria are met:
1. The villager has slept in the last 20 minutes
2. The villager has not detected an iron golem in the last 30 seconds within 16 blocks of the villager
3. The villager has not been near a summoning in the last 30 seconds
4. When panicking, at least 3 villagers are needed, and when gossiping, at least 5
5. A valid spawn point for the golem is found

To find a valid spawn point, up to 10 attempts are made to spawn a golem within a 16x13x16 box centered on the villager (XYZ). 

## Drop
Iron golems drop when they die:
3-5 [[Iron Ingots]]
0-2 poppies
